In order to establish on-going connections between what students learn in their courses, some courses require that students perform practicum hours. These hours range anywhere between 15-45 hours during the course. Students are highly encouraged to perform their practicum hours in diverse settings. For example if for one course, the practicum was performed in a 3rd grade class, for the next course, the practicum hours should be performed in a 7th or 8th grade class. Furthermore, the practicum hours should be performed in a variety of schools including Title I schools.
