Student Teaching is a full time one semester long assignment (16 weeks) that occurs after a student has completed his/her coursework in the respective program of study. The purpose of Student Teaching is for the candidate to demonstrate mastery of Arizona’s Professional Teacher Standards (APTS) as well as Interstate New Teacher Assessment and Support Consortium (INTASC) standards. Students must complete an application and submit it to the Office of Field Experiences by the following dates:
Fall Semester – February 1
Spring Semester – July 1
