This year marks the establishment of the College of Fine Arts and Production at Grand Canyon University, in keeping with the institution’s long and rich history of providing the highest quality Fine Arts and Production education available.  The fine arts fields—Theatre, Music, Dance, Digital Film, Graphic Arts, and Production—are among those that make us distinctly human.  The college’s initial degree offerings will include Theatre and Drama, Music Education, Music—Voice Emphasis, Music Piano Emphasis, Dance Education, and Digital Film.

Our faculty is a rich blend of professionals/scholars/educators that have been selected because of their dedication, expertise, experience, and commitment to creating the very finest educational experience possible for our students.  Many of our professors are working performers and professionals who take every opportunity to impart their wealth of knowledge to students and help guide their pupils on their own particular artistic journeys.

All of our degrees are very hands on and require a great deal of faculty student interaction.  With four choirs, recitals, pep band, and other ensembles our Music Department has many performing opportunities.  The Theatre Department has an extensive production series which boasts five productions a year, including several musicals which are mounted in conjunction with the Music department.  The Dance Department has its own performance ensembles, and Digital Film students are always creating and producing their own films.  In other words, The College of Fine Arts and Production is a busy and very creative place where the faculty is constantly guiding students through various creative processes.
