The programs offered through the College of Nursing are designed for individuals interested in becoming health professionals or advancing their education.
At the baccalaureate level, we offer a pre-licensure BSN (Bachelor of Science in Nursing) for those interested in earning their BSN and becoming eligible to be a registered nurse. This program is offered on ground in Phoenix and Tucson. The CON also offers the RN-BSN program, which is a Professional Studies program designed for registered nurses who have an associate degree or diploma in nursing. This program is offered both on ground and online.
At the graduate level, the College of Nursing offers different tracks within our Master of Science – Nursing program:
- Adult Clinical Nurse Specialist - (Offered on ground)
- Adult Clinical Nurse Specialist with Education focus - (Offered on ground)
- Family Nurse Practitioner - (Offered on ground)
- Nursing Education - (Offered on ground and online)
- Nursing Leadership - (Offered on ground and online)
The Professional Studies student has the option to bypass the BSN degree and enter into one of the MS-N tracks by enrolling in the RN to MS-N program.
The Bridge to Master of Science in Nursing program is designed for registered nurses with a bachelor’s degree in health sciences or other related fields. The program is intended to meet the needs of adult learners who already posses a bachelor’s degree and an RN license who desire to pursue a graduate degree in nursing. The offering (on ground or online) of the bridge program depends on which MS-N track you choose.
Finally, the CON offers post-Master’s certificates for nurses with an MS-N degree in the CNS, CNS: Education, FNP, and Education tracks.
