Prospective Students
Where to begin:

The CON programs have specific requirements before beginning, so a Nursing Enrollment Counselor (EC) is the best person to speak with initially. Call 800.800.9776 and ask for the enrollment department.  The operator can direct you to an EC who can answer your questions as you gather information. The EC has the application and can share any pre-requisites and any other requirements prior to being admitted to the nursing program you are interested in.

There is a special Enrollment team specifically for the pre-licensure BSN program. Andrea Wolochuk (awolochuk@gcu.edu or 602.639.6429) is the manager. Connect with Andrea and her team and learn more.

What is the schedule like?

Schedules for each program vary:

  • Pre-licensure BSN -
Plan to spend four days per week in class or in clinical or lab. Class time is usually two days for four hours each day.  Clinical days are generally 8 or 12 hour shifts. Lab days are usually 4 hours, but some do last all day (with a lunch break.)
  • RN-BSN -
When offered on ground, classes are held once per week for four hours.
  • Graduate & Post-Master’s certificate -
When offered on ground, classes are held once per week for four hours.
