GCU provides students with access to live, online tutors (refer to the GCU Center for Learning & Advancement homepage to see directions about “Booking an online appointment with a GCU Tutor” for reserving an appointment ahead of time). The tutoring sessions are conducted via web-conferencing technology using DimDim.com. In order to participate in live tutoring online, you’ll need to sign-up for a free account and follow the directions below.

1. Go to http://www.dimdim.com
2. Click the orange “Sign-up now” button in the top right corner of the screen.
3. Choose the FREE account option on the right of the screen.
4. Create your account by entering the information requested. Now you’re ready to use the live, online tutoring service at GCU!

Anytime you need help with tutoring, go to the “Booking an online appointment with a GCU Tutor” on the Center for Learning & Advancement website to reserve a specific time and day with a tutor. Your tutor will send you an invite from DimDim with directions on how to access the live tutoring session. On the day and time of your appointment, follow the email directions from your tutor by connecting to the DimDim site. Once connected, you’ll be able to begin your live tutoring session!!
