Returning Students

Education not only exists in the discipline of study, but in the everyday.  It’s in the life lessons, the personal conflicts, the daily triumphs as well as the daily struggles. This is where living on-campus comes in.

StudentsWhen you live on campus you learn what it is to live on your own, to determine who it is that you want to become and who you already are. You do this by living in an environment with people from diverse backgrounds and upbringings, by working through the ‘hard things’ in life, and developing relationships with your roommates, friends and neighbors.

The Office of Residence Life oversees the residential areas and strives to provide opportunities for students to engage in social activities and programs which emphasize academic excellence and personal development. Residence Life also organizes and assigns room and roommate placement and meal plans for Hegel residents. As a team, Residence Life seeks to create an environment that offers physical, emotional and spiritual comfort and safety while challenging personal and academic growth. Our goal is to offer every student the opportunity to experience a unique living environment that will become one of their fondest memories as they remember the time that they were challenged, encouraged and supported to become all that God created them to be.
