Brent Richardson
Executive Chairman of the Board

Brent Richardson joined Grand Canyon University in 2003 and has led the herculean
effort to transform a near-bankrupt university into a world-class institution with a
reputation as “the university with a heart.” Under his leadership, the University has
pursued a unique vision and, as a result, has secured solid partnerships and attracted
some of the finest minds in Christian education.

Brian Mueller
Chief Executive Officer

Brian Mueller joined Grand Canyon University in 2008, and brings over 25 years of teaching, enrollment, and leadership experience in higher education to his position of Chief Executive Officer.

Prior to joining the University, Brian served as the Chief Operating Officer and Senior Vice President of the Online Campus for the University of Phoenix (UoP) from May 1997 to March 2002, after having previously spent 10 years serving the University of Phoenix in various capacities ranging from Enrollment Advisor to Enrollment Director to Vice President and Campus Director.

Dr. Kathy Player
President

Dr. Kathy Player joined Grand Canyon University in 1998 and has served in several leadership roles culminating in her appointment as President of the University on August 1, 2008. Previously, she served as Provost and Chief Academic Officer, a promotion she received in July 2007. Dr. Player also served as the Dean of the Ken Blanchard College of Business and the College of Entrepreneurship.

Dr. Stan Meyer
Executive Vice President

Dr. Stan Meyer joined Grand Canyon University in 2008, and brings over 25 years of experience in higher education to his position of Executive Vice President.

Prior to joining the University, Stan served the Apollo Group, Inc. from 2002 through 2008, most recently holding the position of Executive Vice President for Marketing and Enrollment.

Dr. Cheri St. Arnauld
Provost and Chief Academic Officer

Dr. St. Arnauld is Provost and Chief Academic Officer responsible for ensuring accountability within Grand Canyon University’s colleges and rigor in its academic programs. In this role, Dr. St. Arnauld leads the colleges, the Office of Graduate Studies, the Office of Assessment and the Center for Learning and Advancement to ensure that the instruction offered to students is distinctive and provides a quality education.

Dan Bachus
Chief Financial Officer

Dan Bachus joined Grand Canyon University in 2008, and brings over 8 years of executive level finance and leadership experience to his position of Chief Financial Officer.

Prior to joining the University, Dan served the Loreto Bay Company, a real estate developer, most recently as Chief Financial Officer. From 2000 to 2006, Mr. Bachus served as the Chief Accounting Officer and Controller of Apollo Group, Inc., a for-profit, post-secondary education company and the parent company of the University of Phoenix.

Faith Weese
Chief University Relations and Student Success Officer

Faith Weese joined Grand Canyon University in 1986, and brings over 25 years of administration and teaching experience in higher education to her position of Chief University Relations and Student Success Officer.

Mike Lacrosse
Chief Technical Officer

Mike Lacrosse joined Grand Canyon University in 2006, bringing to the University over twenty years of high tech communications experience. Mr. Lacrosse is a proven hands-on leader, committed to high quality and integrity. With the ability to communicate clear and concisely over multi-disciplines, Mike willingly takes the lead in all facets of front line technology advancements.
