Center for International Education (CIE)
Grand
Canyon's Center for International Education offers
firsthand experience with other peoples, languages, and cultures.
All programs offer academic credit. Since 1983, more than 700 students,
faculty, and staff have traveled to more than 50 countries to teach,
minister, and study.
Study abroad
students typically enroll at Grand Canyon University in a "holding"
course such as UNV 300 to retain their enrollment and eligibility
for financial aid. Upon successful completion of the semester, the
specific credit for the experience replaces the holding course.
Students are required to affirm with their major advisor how study
abroad courses will apply to Grand Canyon University's requirements.>
Students interested
in any international learning must make arrangements through the
Center for International Education well in advance of the anticipated
date of study abroad. Click here to see what study
abroad programs are available. |
